attack of the ben clones in miami!

If you missed last December’s event at the Miami Beach Regional Library, come join (one of) me the first week of June in Cutler Bay, California Club (near Hallandale Beach), Pinecrest, or Coconut Grove.

For a continuing Author Series, the Miami Dade Public Library System has kindly invited me back, this time on the Continent.  The reading/talk/signing, sponsored by MDPLS and Earthdog Press, is for the recently launched My World Book 1: Hitching the Globe on $10 a Day.

Tuesday, June 4, 6:30-7:30pm, Cutler Bay (South Dade Regional Library)

Thursday, June 6, 4:30-5:30pm, California Club Branch

Friday, June 7, 4:30-5:30pm, Pinecrest Branch

Saturday, June 8, 3-4pm, Coconut Grove Branch

(Please see links or posters for addresses.)

About ben

Ben Batchelder has traveled some of the world's most remote roads. Nothing in his background, from a degree in Visual & Environmental Studies at Harvard to an MBA from Wharton, adequately prepared him for the experiences. Yet he persists, for through such journeys life unfolds. Having published four books that map the inner and exterior geographies of meaningful travel, he is a mountain man in Minas Gerais, Brazil who comes down to the sea at Miami Beach, Florida. His second travel yarn, To Belém & Back, received a starred review from Publishers Weekly. For more, visit www.benbatchelder.com.
