são paulo launch of mwb1 1

ButantaRead0119-1The São Paulo launch of My World Book 1 was a warm, intimate event in Butantã.  While lightly attended in comparison with January’s reading (with a book of Brazilian travel adventure), the intimacy allowed for prolonged conversation both before and after.

As one attendee shared afterwards with the author: “I loved the way your book sparked a profound discussion between strangers who share the same passions.”  What else can an author ask for?

Discussion are underway for translating the Ben’s prior book into Portuguese, with the possibility of being published in Brazil by a Federal University.  Stay tuned!

About ben

Ben Batchelder has traveled some of the world's most remote roads. Nothing in his background, from a degree in Visual & Environmental Studies at Harvard to an MBA from Wharton, adequately prepared him for the experiences. Yet he persists, for through such journeys life unfolds. Having published four books that map the inner and exterior geographies of meaningful travel, he is a mountain man in Minas Gerais, Brazil who comes down to the sea at Miami Beach, Florida. His second travel yarn, To Belém & Back, received a starred review from Publishers Weekly. For more, visit www.benbatchelder.com.
